Bringing fun and functionality to e-commerce

Poptastic is a popcorn brand known for its bold packaging and wholesome ingredients. Their current Shopify store, however, didn’t reflect the brand’s energy, so they came to us for design and build support. With a young, mostly Gen Z audience in mind, we knew the online experience had to be playful, bold, and engaging. Our goal was to create a site that captured the brand’s personality while also encouraging users to shop and explore products.

Designing with the brand in mind

We used Poptastic’s packaging and brand colours as the foundation for a complete Shopify rebuild. Our process included defining a visual hierarchy with large typography, designing interactive hover states, and developing custom button components and floating popcorn illustrations. Each element was crafted to guide users intuitively through browsing and checkout, balancing playful brand expression with functional usability.

We focused on stronger branding, clearer CTAs, and introducing animated elements to encourage exploration.

The result is a cohesive, immersive experience that mirrors Poptastic’s vibrant packaging. Customers can quickly explore flavors, learn about products, and complete purchases efficiently, while the Poptastic team enjoys an easy-to-use backend—a major improvement from their previous site. We continue to support the site with ongoing maintenance, ensuring it stays up-to-date, smooth, and ready for future growth.
